“Cody has always loved Beauty and the Beast so we decided to incorporate the Beauty and the Beast Theme into his and Jonathan’s wedding. We were lucky enough to find the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda that looks opulent and fits perfectly as the ballroom for our theme. We bought characters from the movie and put hints of them around the room with just enough to show the theme, but not too much to make it cheesy. We wanted guests to feel like they stepped into the palace in the movie after the curse was lifted and the building beautified. Stunning and whimsical, but full of life and energy”

….“Fall parties are the most fun,” says Buffaloe, “You can bring out these rich colors like pomegranate and aubergine, and of course pumpkin flavored everything.” Her favorite fall activity is apple picking, making apple pies from those apples and simmering the cores and peels to make her home smell like fall.

For home parties, Buffaloe recommends not trying to do everything by yourself, purchase pre-made appetizers, give your family members specific things to do and have someone help you clean up.”
